James Pershing grew up in Rockville, MD. He received his B.F.A. in Art Photography from Syracuse University in 2020.
His current work is broadly focused on the environmental crisis of our era and the new geological epoch that we are situated in - the Anthropocene.
He is currently residing in Portland, OR.
